The volunteers of the Service League of Orange would like to take this opportunity to say “Thank you!” for your generous support of The Follies. Since 1954, the Service League has been involved in donating time and labor to nearly every aspect of life… health and medicine, education, children’s charities, feeding the hungry, promoting culture and the arts, supporting athletic programs and protecting the environment. Every dollar earned through this event is used to assist the people of Orange County, which means that YOU have done something to assist your neighbor. For that, we salute you.
Tickets are now available for “We’ve Got Talent”. The Service League of Orange presents The Follies every three years. Tickets may be purchased at The Lutcher Theater, Gifts Etc located inside Baptist Orange Hospital, or your friendly Service League representative. Tickets are only $20 for Reserved Seating and $10 for Balcony. The Follies is our big fund raiser to help our community needs in Orange County. See http://serviceleagueoforange.com/follies/ for more information about “We’ve Got Talent”.

The Service League of Orange is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) charity. Our members work to help our community. Our Fine Arts Program visits area 4th graders to help them with a hands on art appreciation experience. The ElderFun Committee visits area elderly organizations and plays games. Some of our members assist with other organizations such as Orange Christian Services and The Rainbow Room. We also run Gifts Etc located inside Baptist Orange Hospital. All proceeds earned go back into the community.
The Service League of Orange is kicking off the 2014 Follies. “We’ve Got Talent”, held only once every three years, this year’s Follies will be held January 17 and 18 at The Lutcher Theater in Orange. All proceeds from The Follies will go directly back into the community to benefit Orange County Charities. The Service League helps Orange County Charities including The Salvation Army, Orange Christian Services, Camp Fire USA, The Rainbow Room and many more. The funds raised also help The Service League with their own programs such as Special Health (School Age Children receive medical attention), Fine Arts (Teaching 4th Graders about art), Elderfund (Playing Games with the Elderly) and others.
Gifts Etc gave a donation to the Service League of Orange Special Health Program at a meeting on September 3, 2013. The donation of about $1900.00 will help children get medical help they need to be able to go to school and learn. Area School Nurses refer children to The Service League who may need help to go to a doctor or dentist.
Thank You to all who donated gifts to the Service League of Orange Toy Coffee. The purpose of the Toy Coffee is to get toys and raise money for The Salvation Army in Orange to help make a wonderful Christmas for all families. We were fortunate enough to receive over 660 toys and over $4300 in monetary donations. We also thank David Self Ford for the wonderful donation of the new sled to help hold all the presents we receive. Also, a Big Thank You to Frank and Sue Pritchard for opening their home to all the visitors and helping our community!
